Gran Turismo 5 rocks, there’s no question. But some of you have reported having trouble with the game, mainly online. Not to worry, as SCEA and Polyphony Digital have a new incoming downloadable patch that will fix these problems. It’ll be available starting tomorrow.
Said Kazunori Yamauchi, leader of Polyphony, “We’re going to perform an update on the 27th that will include things like max power restrictions and weight restrictions. It’s like a living creature, dynamically growing as we speak.”
“Online updates are planned of course for leader boards and matchmaking – all planned in the process of evolution,” added Yamauchi. “The data centre was set up to handle 500,000 connections but the number of connections we received greatly exceeded that amount and there was a high chance of experiencing problems as a result.”
Sooo…that takes care of that.
