Here on the year end countdown, some things are obvious. Madden made the cut, an NHL game (or two rather) showed up, and WWE muscled its way in. Well, there's no surprise here, as NBA 2K once again joined our prominent list. NBA 2K10 is one of the better editions in the series to date, thanks to a plethora of improvements (even with the online bugs at first -- they've since been ironed out), superb gameplay (you really feel like Kobe draining threes from the outside) and some of the best presentation you'll ever find in a sports game. Sure, NBA Live 10 is just as much a champion, but NBA 2K10 feels better put together as a whole. Next year, however, we expect a better head-to-head contest between the two. We'll definitely enjoy putting them through their paces. Congrats to 2K!
