Kudos to Shaun White. The guy is on top of the world right now, winning gold medals at the Winter Olympics and still deep in a partnership with Ubisoft. However, it looks like he might be shredding some new territory very soon.
In a discussion this morning with the folks at KROQ, White mentioned that Ubisoft and him are working on a new skateboarding project. He didn't go into too much detail, but explained that it would be out sometime around the second half of 2010, probably closer to the winter time.
Ubisoft didn't have an official comment, so at this point we have to accept it as rumor. Still, this would be an interesting change of pace for White, trading in the slopes for the streets. And not to mention going up against Skate 3 and the proposed Tony Hawk: Ride sequel. Are the streets about to get competitive again? We hope so.
Meanwhile, enjoy some snowboarding to pass the time. White's the man.
