Tony Hawk: Ride was not on our favorable list of entertaining sports games. You obviously know that, and any unfortunate buyers of the game probably have that idea, too. Still, that isn't stopping the development team of Robomodo from trying again.
Despite weak sales of the game and negative reviews, it looks like Robomodo is working closely with Hawk on a new game that supports the weird skateboard peripheral. According to this recent Tweet from Hawk's site, "Just met with Robomodo about our next project and it's already much better than I expected. Details soon. Chicago is not warm."
While we appreciate the weather update (not warm in January, wow), we just can't figure out how the two got approval on another project. Perhaps they should've heeded our advice about what to do with the controller instead. Or at least figure out why the first game didn't work.
We'll bring more info soon. Hopefully it's good news, but...ehhh...that's a hard call. A really hard one.
